Connecticut Light and Power Company (CL&P) is a regulated electric utility and wholly owned subsidiary of Northeast Utilities, serving approximately 1.2 million residential, commercial, and industrial customers in 149 cities and towns across 4,400 square miles in Connecticut. CL&P is engaged in the purchase, delivery, and sale of electricity. It does not own any electric generation facilities and is subject to regulation by PURA and FERC.
