Metallus Inc. (formerly TimkenSteel) is an Ohio-based specialty steel manufacturer spun off from The Timken Company in June 2014. The company produces alloy, carbon, and micro-alloy steel using electric arc furnace (EAF) technology, offering special bar quality (SBQ) bars, seamless mechanical tubing, billets, and precision manufactured components. Products serve industrial, automotive, aerospace & defense, and energy end-markets. Metallus also operates raw material recycling programs and manages scrap return supply chains with customers.
