Oxford Square Capital Corp. (OXSQ) is a closed-end, non-diversified business development company (BDC) focused on maximizing total portfolio return. It invests primarily in corporate debt securities and collateralized loan obligation (CLO) structured finance investments, including CLO equity and junior debt tranches, warehouse facilities, and publicly traded debt and equity securities. Portfolio companies are generally below investment grade. Capital is used by borrowers for organic growth, acquisitions, recapitalizations, and working capital.
