Ellington Credit Company (formerly Ellington Residential Mortgage REIT) is a non-diversified, closed-end management investment company registered under the 1940 Act. Following its CLO Strategic Transformation, it invests primarily in mezzanine debt and equity tranches of corporate collateralized loan obligations (CLOs), which are securitizations collateralized by portfolios of corporate credit assets, primarily non-investment grade, first lien, senior secured corporate bank loans. It is externally managed by Ellington Credit Company Management LLC and seeks attractive current yields and risk-adjusted total returns.
