United States Oil Fund, LP (USO) is a Delaware limited partnership and commodity pool that issues limited partnership interests (shares) traded on NYSE Arca. Its investment objective is for daily changes in its per share NAV to reflect daily changes in the price of the Benchmark Oil Futures Contract (short-term light, sweet crude oil futures). USO primarily invests in Oil Futures Contracts and other oil-related investments, with collateral held in short-term U.S. Treasuries, cash, and cash equivalents.
